According to Xbox live, I played over 255 hours and 56 minutes of Xbox Skyrim. 72 hours on the PC version, according to Steam... LOL.

325 hours. And that's before the Creation Kit's even been released.
I think there's something wrong with me.
Or not.

I was considering mentioning the same thing. Steam says I've done 173 hours, but I don't think I've had it as long as you two. In this time I still haven't completed the main quest or gone through the imperal/stormcloak quest. Still, I did split my game between two characters as well...
What's wrong with us is that we're addicted to Skyrim. On the other hand, I'm still surprised it has held my interest this long. Morrowind and Oblivion for me were fun for a bit, but I ended up quite bored and just didn't play them through. Clearly there is something more satisfying about Skyrim.

No kidding... I never finished Final Fantasy XIII. I got bored quickly. I got my Skyrim at midnight on 11/11/11. I preordered just because my friends did too. Normally I play zombie games, because I got so burnt out on the genre, however, I'm glad I did. When my HD and MB cooked and I lost 90% my work on my game, it was a hard slam. In that same computer failure, I lost all my Thief2 FMs in production too. Having a kid is a big life changer too. I got pretty disillusioned when my marriage went sour and my wife died in her car accident. Playing a game that allows me to dream is something wonderful. I don't know if it would be considered "Addiction", but it can certainly draw you into the game. I both play the game and study the engine at the same time. I mostly look at the game as an enjoyable educational experience. Hehe, I would love to import some of my old T2 AIs into the engine. This is my first time playing an Elder Scroll. Most of my friends played Morrowind and Oblivion and even Daggerfalls. My late wife didn't like violent video games so I was lucky to just be able to build Thief2 FM. I wasn't playing games, I was creating artistic 3d space in a virtual reality. I have friends around the world because of it. Anyway, OMG, I just rambled... Sorry.. :P

Sounds like you've had a few tough things to contend with there, YcatX. I'm not having a great time of things myself lately. A nice helping of fairly major depression, but Skyrim is a useful escape. Does remind me of the way I was absorbed in Thief the first time I played it.

45.8 hours. Over the 5 days I've been able to play it thus far..
It is a great game. I remember when I reached Whiterun and just stopped and looked at the mist clinging to the distant mountains. The only experience I can compare it to is lucid dreaming when you suddenly feel that surreal kick of being inside a different reality. The world really is truly absorbing.

Over the last weekend just after I got it I played about 10 hours a day.
I feel so ashamed :(

Actually Azaran, that's average playing time for me. No need to feel ashamed. ;) It's so easy to become so immersed in this great game!

I don't know how many hours I've played because I don't use Steam. But could anybody compute a general hours per level rate? I.e., Divide your total time by level.
It feels like I can ramp up a level when I put in a long play session for one day (6 hours? or is it more like 3?). I have a feeling it's a few hours, but I don't know exactly. But anyway, I'm level 30, and it's taken some work to get there over a few weeks.

Are you playing the console version, demagogue? Because Skyrim PC kinda, you know, requires Steam.
