I believe you'd need an admin to move the thread back into one of the open forums. If they don't want to revive an archived thread, you could make a new one and link to the one in the archives...

If the thread is Totally Archived [/bill s preston] you'll have to settle for simply pasting the URL to it, I'm afraid. I'm not 100% sure, but I think making it so that a thread can be resurrected from Archive involves some really nasty and potentially forum-stuffing-up activities like making the entire bloody archive read / write. Or something like that.

Actually we *could* just move the thread to an open forum, but the archives are sorta where they are for a reason... best to start a new thread and link-reference the old thread if ya wanna :)
