At least in a beta form: (
http://www.ttlg.com/dave/oldhat/)
It utilises AJAX, so those with older browsers may experience issues or a complete lack of 'working'.
It works fine in at least Opera 9+, IE6+, Firefox, Safari 2.0+. Anyone with an old or obscure browser please post your results. I know Linux is not particularly obscure, but I don't have access to it at the moment, so Linux users, your help is appreciated.
It's not flawless, however it should be fairly quick and fairly accurate.
Please give it a go and post any feedback here! :D
If all goes well I shall shift it to a permanent location and hook it up to the forums within a few days.

It seems that the links it gives back lead to the first page of the thread rather than the actual post. The search itself works with Opera 8.51 on Linux with no obvious problems, though.

Sorry, you must be a member of TTLG forums and be logged in to use this resource.

It doesn't work for me in IE either so it's probably something to do with cookies rather than an actual problem.

I'm still not entirely sure what old hat is....can someone please explain?
Scots Taffer on 27/10/2006 at 01:27
If that's a serious request, it's even explained what old hat is on the freaking old hat search page.
