Hey I have an old computer with XP SP3 that got stuck today. When you push the power button, COMPAQ shows on the screen but it stays there. The power light on the keyboard isn't on so I can't select Boot Menu or Setup or System Recovery. It just hangs there and doesn't ever go to the login screen.
Thoughts?

14 hours later I started it again and it got past the little sticking point and booted properly. Weird.

Yeah, stuff like that may be a warning that it's about to mechanically break.
