Anyone here ever watched a cartoon about talking fireworks?, I think it was set up in medieval times and there was going to be some sort of celebration in which a lot of fireworks were put up in a platform from where they would be fired. All fireworks seemed to be of various nationalities and at some point they begin to talk amongst one another, one of them being the protagonist.
I recall there was, I think, an arab rocket (by the turban-shaped tip and accent). I can never remember what they were talking about, but it seems the protagonist at some point begins to cry and his fuse is all wet, so when the big fireworks display is on, he's the only one left since he didn't light up. So, they throw him into the river while someone claims that it was a bad rocket (the protagonist goes all indignated and repeats the comment in question). At the end some fellow finds it and sets a little fire underneath it, finally drying the fuse and igniting it, so at the end the rocket zooms up to the sky, all happy and goes ka-boom.
Anyone remember the name of the cartoon or it's creator?
Thanks in advance :)

Google-fu reveals the following:
The Remarkable Rocket, a 1975 short tale narrated by David Niven and based on a story by Oscar Wilde.

Beaten to the punch! Oh well, I didn't feel like googling anyway after trying to figure out what PeeperStorm's latest image post was (psst: Peeps, direct https links dun show up for people, biatch).

Also, Oscar Wilde wrote the incomparably silly 'The Importance of Being Earnest', which everyone must read. And he was as gay as a bum chum, and I love him. I'm off to see Bunbury now. Ta!

(psst: Sulphie, direct links to imageshack only show up for a short time in more heavily visited threads - once the allotted traffic has been used up, they hide the image, biatch)

(pss... oh, fuck it.
A picture that actually shows up is better than one that doesn't at all, wouldn't you say?*
Probability of an image disappearing? Consider the complete facts: the bandwidth Imageshack allots per image, per hour, is 300 MB, and the fact that the hotlinked images I use are generally in the vicinity of ~30-60 KB, and take into the account how much traffic a single thread would get in an hour -- you do the math.
Biatch.
*This also depends on what the image in question is of, of course; but hey, your mileage and all that.

"There is only one thing worse than being animated and that is NOT being animated."
A cool but also a bit creepy clay-mation version of his story "The Star Child" is available on DVD. Found mine in a bargain bin somewhere. (BY Clay Classics on the Good Times label.)
