Gee, how about "using a paint program to erase a line of pixels to make her expression less pouty" then?

Say what you will, but I'm still not convinced. You've yet to adequately explain the difference in the shape of that chick's mouth. (And, no. . . "pixilation" ain't gonna cut it.

It's the same photo. Do you think it's a coincidence that the hair across her brow matches up perfectly?? The difference in Juliette Lewis's mouth is down to the increase in contrast, meaning that grey detail is lost.
They are identical. Factor that in to your world view, and get on with your life.

Considering that this topic is a year old, your 'get on with your life' statement makes you look like a complete moron.

Apart from that he's right though.

Yup, he's right, but you gotta admit that the "get on with your life" statement coupled with the thread necromancy makes it look pretty hypocritical.

Red-green blindness? ;)

I'm pretty impressed with the matches here.
It never even occurred to me to think that these stim units could be real celbrites.
How does that work as far as royalties and copyright is concerned? Surely you can't just take someones face and incorporate it into your own product for profit? Or am I just being naieve?
As for strange days, tht is one of my top ten fav movies. Kind of like the SS games. It was so much better than anything around at the time, but for some reason just didn't make it as big as it should.
And for CR, I have to agree with the majority. It is the same pic. As has already been pointed out, they just used a paint program to erase the top line of pixels on her lips. It wasn't even done very well. Do you really think she has such a perfectly flat top lip? The end result makes her look a bit more sexual for the stim unit door.

well I'm afraid that doesn't help much...
So seriously, you think there is no issue with a celebrity's image being used in a commercial product without their consent or paying them any royalties (and yes, tabloid/news type magazine articles are different)?
So if BioShock used Hugh Jackman's image as the log image for Atlas, without paying for it, that wouldn't be a problem? Do you really think that it all comes down to just how much the image is used?
Kolya on 30/10/2007 at 07:44
No, I think they just assumed no one would notice. Like you didn't notice before someone dug up the originals.
