I am desperately trying to clear my work schedule to make it there, but something massively unexpected has dropped itself into my lap, so at the moment it's all up in the air. The cost is not really a problem as the prices don't seem to fluctuate until about 10 days before departure, so I still have time.

Also amended my booking for arrival on the 25th, so I can spend the whole weekend in Turku with you chaps & chapettes!
Vasquez, any chance of you and Morbus staying the whole weekend, too? Or arriving as early as possible on Saturday?
I'll come and meet our internationals at the airport on the 25th, and we'll drive to Turku from there (abt 150 km, less than 2 hour drive). Outie - man, I hope you get your flights sorted out, you just can't miss this humppafest!
On Sunday, I'll drive you back to the Helsinki airport. It's not that far from where I live, so it'll be good. I have room for four passangers in the car, so Dave, Outie, Vas, Morbus, you're covered.
We'll sort out the details later.

Yeah, Friday is good! And we'll have to arrange some sort of hilariously embarrassing welcome at the airport to our international special guests :D

Anyways, the Finnmeet is only six days away! The honored guests will be David and Outrider. :cool:
The meet will take place in (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turku) Turku, which used to be the capital of Finland back in the olden days, and is the home of such celebrities and cool people like Morrgan and Vigil.
On Friday, I'll be meeting up with David and Outie at the Helsinki airport. We'll be met by Vasquez and Morbus, and head west to Turku, some 170 km from the HKI airport, where we'll meet with the rest of the kru.
All us non-Turku residents will be staying in the same hotel.
At 8 PM we have a table reservation at Dennis, a famous local pizza restaurant, for chillin' and homphen. A few beers etc will be involved.
At roughly 10:37 PM the local police will pick up the first member of the party, to be bailed out by the rest of us at 7:30 next morning.
At the same time, another member of the party will be thrown in the brig, as a sort of a prisoner exchange.
Saturday's program will involve a visit to the (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turku_castle) Turku Castle, during which two member of the party will be lost, only to be found later that day on a canal boat drinking (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salmari) Salmari drinks.
At 6:30 PM we have a table reservation at (
http://www.ravintolaharald.fi/) Harald, a Viking themed restaurant. At 6:45 a member of the party will have knocked down a waiter with a large shield, and a bear hide has been mysteriously disappeared from the restaurant wall. Around 7:30 TJK goes missing.
At 8:30 we've eaten most of the bear, and have moved on to singing what everyone claims to be traditional viking songs, but are in fact just old David Bowie tunes sung terribly out of tune. Nobody seems to notice this, however, and the party will receive a huge ovation from the restaurant patrons, plus a subpoena from the restaurant manager.
At 9:15 a member of the party notices he's lost his clothes, but the situation is quickly remedied by constructing an outfit of the bear hide that gets conveniently found.
At 9:30 TJK is found in the ladies rest room.
At 9:32 the party gets thrown out of the restaurant.
From there on, the future is uncertain, but there's a strong probability that one of more members of the party will be fished out of the Aura river during some time of the evening, and that a passionate kiss will be shared by two members of the party. The following morning, the guys just claim to be friends.
On Sunday morning, at 8:35, a member of the party will get released from the jail, and quickly proceeds to the nearest bar to catch up on all the missed out drinking and fun the night before. By 9:14 the said person will be solidly hammered and sharing his life story with a lamp post near to the bar.
At 9:17 a police on duty will spot said person, and escorts him to the jail to sober up.
At 10:30 AM at the breakfast table, the party will read about a stolen bear hide in the morning papers.
As for the rest, the future looks unpredictable.
