Meeting place and time: at 3 PM, at the Central Railway Station, somewhere. I suggest right outside the main entrance.
From there on we walk to Kauppatori, stopping at Stockmann Deli for picnic stuff on the way. The idea was to buy whatever looks good and is enough for all of us, and then split the bill, if that's ok with everyone.
From Stockmann Deli we mosey along to Kauppatori, and take a ferry to Suomenlinna. We'll enjoy a nice picnic there, and when people feel like it, we'll return to Helsinki and either find a nice pub to go to, or if people are hungry, try to find a place to eat and chat.

Report for those who wish they had been there :D
We met at the Railway Station, and then walked to Stockmann Deli. The shopping part took surprisingly long - the food and booze were in 1st floor but paper cups, plates etc. in 4th floor, so there was some running around (also, lots of people). MorbusG also stopped at the electric-stuff section to buy a mini-speaker for the mp3 player.
Finally we took off towards Kauppatori, but when we turned to the Esplanade, there was a big samba carneval going on! More crowd and slow moving, but eventually we got to the water-bus (Vigil says it's a ferry, but i just translate the Finnish word ;) ).
Everyone was starving by now, but there was a bit more walking at Suomenlinna to find the perfect picnic spot. And find it we did, it was a quiet corner on a hill, protected by old stone walls. Weather was perfect, and first we had a glass of Bollinger that Kryptos had bought. Then we ate, drank, talked nerdy stuff like games, fanmissions, maps, Thief and TTLG/#thief gossip ;) listened to TDS soundtrack!!! and enjoyed the sunny, warm summer afternoon.
After good many hours of picnic, we roamed back towards the docks. There were LOTS of people (again), however, so we decided to wait for the crowd to dissolve, and what better place to do the waiting than Suomenlinna Panimo Pub.
Around 10 pm we returned to Helsinki, and then it was a late night drink and snack ("snack" meaning a half-kilo steak in Morbus's case :p ) at Cantina West, which was the final stop of the evening - from there we headed to hotels and homes some time after midnight. When leaving, we thought we'd lost TJKeränen, but a phone call revealed his whereabouts being the ladies' restroom :cheeky:
