Great merciful heavens, an Issue 2 has been printed. Whisper it softly, but there should even be an Issue 3 as well.
Much like Sensible Soccer '06, this issue is shamefully trying to cash-in on the World Cup by having something of a footy theme. Unlike the new Sensi, it will hopefully not be a shoddy, bug-ridden mess (allegedly). Indeed, due to COMPLEX NEW METHODOLOGIES the rather embarassing number of typo/grammatical errors in Issue 1 should be significantly reduced for this edition. It will also have a spine (ooo). Insert your own gag about the Spanish national team.
Assuming you're interested, things written by me will include:
Sensi Spin-Offs: A reflection on the exciting and innovative world of Sensible demos (Cannon Soccer, Sensible World of Moon, et al). Also featuring foolish optimism about Sensible '06 in the intro. Ahh, we live and learn.
Sabreman Diaries (Underwurlde Edition): I guess this is in .. although I can't be 100% sure.
I did a thing about the EVIL INFLUENCE of computer games upon the poor brains of children from a 1980's Spectrum User perspective too, but I'm reliably informed that this is being held for Issue 3. So that won't be in, unless they needed a quick substitute article at the last minute or something.
Things not written by me will include:
Jon Hare (for it is he) talking about Sensible Software.
Andrew Oliver talking about .. things.
Classic Football Games World Cup.
AND MUCH MUCH MORE, AS THEY SAY

Also available in your nearest Gamestation. Can it still be just £3? Gosh, yes, it can.
(Plus, um, another £3 in P&P if you're in the US. It really does cost that much to send via the good old Royal Mail though. Sorry everyone in the Americas, sorry .. sorry again ...)

Just ordered.
My students are gonna love this.... all they think about is classic games.
And who knows, when Paz is famous and this is an huge international publication, we'll have original collector's items!

I think it's on back-order.

Woah, you really should have got a copy by now if you ordered online, yes. Can't remember when I was sent one exactly, but it was at least a couple of weeks ago. There was a distribution issue with getting them in Gamestation, but that should (probably) be sorted now.
If you pre-ordered and haven't got anything yet, I recommend sending an email with your details to Chris*AT*retrofusion.co.uk
I don't know why you wouldn't have got one (postal service permitting), sorry :(
Also I only had the "Sensi Spin-offs" published in this issue - not sure what happened to Sabreman, perhaps it was axed for containing too many references to Kafka. If it's never going to see the light of day I'll just post it up here instead.
