Fuck it, we're all getting published these days.
Have a read of (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=946606#post946606) this. Did you find it in any way enjoyable or relevant to your life? Would you like to see it in an actual real commercial publication, except with better spelling and less words?
WAIT WAIT, I HAVE A MORE CONVINCING PITCH WHERE ARE YOU GOING
That one has less words, but there are others. Oh yes. Others, I say.
I'm talking about
Sabre Man's Diary, in which our intrepid hero must worry about a gigantic Blue Wulf as well as his dress sense and freakish orchids. I'm talking about
R Tape Loading Error, in which I try to load Spectrum games using various methods and ultimately turn to witchcraft for aid. I'm talking about many other pages which I *didn't* write, but which I'm quite sure are very good. Possibly even better as they're written by professionals instead of some mong.
I'm talking ab .. shit, the rule of three has collapsed there .. ok, I am THRILLED TO <strike>SHAMEFULLY ADVERTISE</strike> BRING TO YOUR ATTENTION: (
http://www.retrofusion.co.uk/) RETRO FUSION
A mere three of your British pounds, gentlemen. Ladies, it's the same price for you too. That's the cost of equality.
I've seen a teaser of the layout and design. It is lush.
Alas, I am jumping the gun slightly because
International Orders are not yet available on the (
http://www.retrofusion.co.uk/rfcart1.html) BUY SEXY SEX HERE page ... yet. As soon as the editor weighs an issue and works out postage, they will be. Don't worry. Anyone dwelling on this fair isle can order now though. Which they should, obviously.
The cap of dreams is in my hand. Please fill it with delicious gold.

I will buy this. I will also write a GUSHING tribute about the article to the editor. Because I am nice like that.
ps paz how did you get this gig
Briareos H on 7/4/2006 at 15:32
I will buy it too, if the postage does not empty my poor student wallet.

Postage is une POUNDE

I got this gig by speculatively sending an article to the editor, which he liked - hooray!
'This gig' is currently unpaid. However, I've heard that Issue 1 is already running at a profit (thanks, evils of advertising!) That means the more sold, the more cash will be available for freelance payments from the next issue onwards. This is my hidden agenda!
Obviously it's a 'bedroom publishing' type operation, but a rather professional one from what I've experienced so far. And yes, sorry, I forgot postage is £1 .. so that total cost is actually £4, then.
*exciting update* - ordered issues will most likely be sent out on Tuesday next week. I love each and every person above and below me in this thread <3 <3 <3
Hello one such person below! VVVVVVVV
I'm not sure what International Postage will be when it appears .. hopefully not too crippling.
