Old Tony Brown was blabbing on the other day about celebrating more Britishness and how we should fly more Britishness flags. What? That we don't behave like enormous big twats erecting flag poles everywhere is exactly why I like it here. It's a good place to live and let live, without having to get in everyone's face about it.

Tenk, I know what you're saying. Newsreader guy wasn't going to give funkycardigan guy the time of day and came off looking bad for it. Coming off looking bad when you're interviewing funkycardigan guy from the BNP is pretty uneccessary. A different kind of argument to "u is racist - ner ner ner" vs "no we is not racist, u r marxist though. Why u always hating the poor white (cultural) minority - ner ner ner with knobs on" is needed.

Well, the most convincing argument is always going to be that their ideals and potential policies would quickly bring economic ruin. Once you get into social or cultural/historic specifics I think you lose the audience that might consider voting for them anyway.
It's also time to destroy the myth that Britain was somehow magically awesome in the 1950s. The only place that idealised version exists is in Morrissey lyrics.

The BNP always disappoint. They have a very poor record in places where they tricked enough people into voting for them. The interviewer should have put that to the spokesman, but instead he sounded like he was so scared of making the BNP sound respectable that he had to resort to shouting at him.
It's clear from the answers that he had little to worry about.

It didn't say "ffdshow" explicitly, it reported FMP4 which subsequent googling showed me was decodable by ffdshow.
Interestingly, GSpot still says the codec is not installed despite the cardiganguy video playing perfectly.
