Thanks!
"The conservative party, they've got Marxist tendancies too?"
"I'm afraid so."

Although the man was an idiot I feel that he actually did very well in keeping calm in the face of an interviewer who was obviously hostile from the very start, and who was clearly trying to lead him into saying stupid things. Actually, I found the interviewer quite haranguing.
The BNP guy needs to either look `Marxism` up in the dictionary or stop using the word. In the end though, I dont think he was much different from most Conservatives.

Clearly the BBC is part of this Marxist Lib-Lab-Con conspiracy.

(ps - all UK readers are Consumerist Marxists)
I think that sums it up nicely.
I love it where the interviewer says "I'm just trying to take you seriously as a party" :D

He's like some racist grandad they picked up off the street.

Jesus God, what codec does that damn file use? I can't find it anywhere.
Sorry to people with codec issues! Like I said, I just grabbed it from some other forum and wanted to share the love. Since it ran correctly on my apology of a computer, I assumed it would be fine for all.
Tenkahubu: You think he needed *leading* into saying stupid things? Well .. ok

Would you care to explain how what I wrote was more clueless than this for example?

Or are you just being a cunt for the hell of it? If so then I guess this is an even more clueless post than the last, as I don`t understand your `wit`.
To Paz- My point was that it is frustrating when an interviewer attempts to lead you. In my opinion, this interviewer made quite an artless job of it and I think that the fascist retained his composure quite well in the face of it. He didnt even shout and the BNP are usually all about shouting. I wasn`t implying that he would otherwise have come across as a rational human being.
Please rewatch the clip, and focus on the interviewer this time. I hope you`ll agree that he is hostile (and has a hostile agenda) from the start. I dont exactly care about the BNP but it is hardly unbiased. Ironically, media bias is exactly what the BNP man complains of.
Apologies if I broke some taboo by writing something other than a variation of "lol what a dumbass", but I can easily see this interview reflecting well on the BNP with a large number of people in Britain, sad though that is.

Here on the internet, we have something we call sarcasm. I was given to understand the English perfected it, but apparently the art of saying something obviously false for the purposes of amusement has fallen into rather steep decline over there since the days of Empire.

They're actually not all about shouting anymore. The new image is quite devious and contains various stages:
1). They deny being racist. This is achieved by semantic redefinition and distraction - namely, "we're not racist, we just don't like immigrants" or "we're not racist, we hate all nationalities equally!" You might think that's pretty stupid, but it seems to work alarmingly well. This is because it is combined with distraction - the suggestion that the main parties 'don't want to debate' these issues, because they're too taboo or 'politically correct' or other such buzzwords and phrases which are semi-meaningless. This is nonsense of course, as the last election was practically ALL ABOUT immigration at times.
2). They are now media friendly and represent 'the man in the street'. Shown by this interview, the BNP are now happy to talk to the press. Although he kind of fucked-up with his ZOMG MARXISTS and blatant racism, there are plenty of stupid people in the country who will believe that all he's saying is "tsk, wasn't it nicer 50 years ago eh? remember when schools had discipline .. isn't it a shame that the main parties don't chat in such a friendly way with their cardigan on?" Nevermind that this person has no conception of what Marxism, consumerism or any of the other terms he chucked out might mean - that's irrelevant to the more idiotic voter because they don't know what those things mean either. They'll think this is just a 'nice guy' representing their views without 'spin' (or substance, but hey).
3). Victimisation complex. Bizarrely, despite being hateful cunts they manage to attract some sympathy, via the techniques above. Exposing them as clueless racists doesn't always do any good, because the level of debate necessary to do this soars far and away over the heads of their core support. This allows the BNP to adopt a sort of 'EVERYONE IS AGAINST US' seige mentality (in fairness, any right-minded person IS against them - but that should not engender sympathy). Any kind of attack will be rebuffed as a kind of Marxist-Guardian-Politically Correct attempt to prevent the JUST AND NOBLE DEBATE that the BNP wish to have.
Despite appearences, they're actually getting very, very clever. That's partly why I'm spreading this video around, because it's actually quite a rare slip (more batshit than normal, certainly). Although they only get votes in the 10s or 100s at the moment, it's important to make sure that they NEVER NEVER NEVER EVERRRRRRRRR get beyond this point. It seems massively unlikely and far off at the moment, but let's keep it that way eh?

Indeed, it's getting increasingly difficult to label them as clueless racists ever since they rubber-stamped the selection of an Asian candidate for the coming elections - another adroit political move.
That said, I don't think the fascists will ever enjoy the same kind of support as they do on the continent, because fascism just isn't
British. The ultimate irony of painting yourselves as British Nationalists is that fascism is about as far away from Britishness as you can get. This country is the definitive melting-pot of cultures, and it has been for millennia.
