It's not the drinking that's the problem, it's the lying, the misrepresentation of witnesses' stories, his belligerent behaviour during the hearing, his emotional outbursts even during prepared statements, conspiracy mongering, etc.

I was thinking of posting my own observations in this thread, but there really doesn't seem to be much point. Everything has been said before and better.
It's pointless to argue with these people. They have no interest in any kind of intellectual discourse or debate, they're just going to keep parroting the same conspiracy theories that they've been made to believe, while ignoring anything that doesn't agree with their world view.
Don't encourage them. Ignore them. Don't answer. Maybe add them to your block list. If no one interacts with them, they'll eventually give up and go away.

Honestly, there are gonna be a thousand and one things to nitpick over this whole ordeal, and none of it will matter, because this time tomorrow, Kavanaugh will be seated on the Supreme Court.
All you can do is vote.
