The pathway down to the last audio log in the game, got stuck below the entrance to the boss battle on the opposite side.

I'm not sure if you mean the staircase or the tube that you have to jump down right after getting the last audio log .. could you clear that up, please?

I was on the last block before the void on the opposite side of the way down to the last audio log, I had no cheats on and I quicksaved when I got there.

Oh. In that case, you should have been able to get out by mantling onto the other stairs. Oh well. At least you got out.
