I'm in the "Where am I" section of ss2 and I've gotten myself stuck, I'm hours and hours in and I've only been quicksaving so I don't have a backup save...is there any way to mapchange/teleport/fly out of this mess? I'm gonna cry if I have to replay the whole game! :tsktsk:

What's up with people all of a sudden?
Anyway, you have to use dromed to get out of there.

Sounds like someone's been using "undead".

I don't even know what that is, I fell down in a pit sort of thing and hit alt+s on instinct but now I can't get out. :( I'll google dromed...

Gaming 101 - Use at least two savegame slots
steppman2 on 12/12/2006 at 13:53
I usually do use 2 slots but there's a horrible 20 second wait when switching video modes for some reason in this game so quicksaving was a much easier option for me at the time. I've got dromed but can't figure out what to do with it. >_<
Edit : I got out! I found a summon_obj cheat off google and used it to stack up explosive barrels till I could climb out...thanks anyways guys!

It takes me 2 seconds at most to go back to the game from the menu. If you don't like that you could always set the in-game resolution to the same as the menu. It won't look good but makes manual saving less of an annoyance.

Another good thing to do is redefine the quicksave/quickload keys to not use the autosave slot.

It's so hard to use such a low resolution...especially given my system specs, I built this machine for Oblivion. Also, I would like to know how to rebind the quicksave to cycle slots if possible.
