Oh comeon, now. What did Texas do to you?
You know...besides the general political stuff and whatnot.

Besides the fact I'm stuck in it...?
Oh yeh this guy, could be part of the problem too, maybe.

This is why you guys need to vote Al Gore into the Presidency at the next election...
He actually gets it; screw the charisma factor - what you need is someone who is able to understand whats going on around him.

The comparison between the Bush administration and the (early) Hitler administration is frigthening, it's true. But I see a significant difference: Hitler was reaching for power of a recently defeated nation at the bottom of the economical ladder. Bush is ruling the most powerful nation we currently see.
I really wonder if all those Europeans who said "never again!" already forgot their history lessons about how it all started in Germany.

I've never been gladder to live outside the USA, and I was already pretty glad of that. I'm not very politically active and I'm definitely NOT the sort of person to lecture or get on the high horse, this thing really strikes me as the sort of thing where you guys should get out there en masse and try to make your voices heard. Complaining about it on an internet forum is all well and good, but you are living in a democracy right? .... right? :weird:

According to this act, the US does not need to respect international boundaries, state soverignty, and all that, and can, against the will of your government, show up at your door tomorrow, call you a terrorist, and send you on an all-expenses paid trip to a certain Cuban prison.
Most civilized people tend to call that 'Banditry.'

sure bush isnt THIS stupid..is he? what have the other nations of the world to say about this bill? since it pretty much gives the US domination over the world.
does anyone have a link to the actual bill itself to read?
