You might also want to consider getting a concealed knife......
I suppose it's a good way to get the rest of the year off.

Yeah, its quite great. The scary fucking thing: this is the fixxed version.
At least in THIS version, the accused in the secret trial gets to get a SUMMARY of the evidence used against them. What they were trying to pass in the original bill allowed them to withhold the evidence against the accused due to the fact it could comprimise national security. There was even some worse shit in there that I forgot about, and on dialup I wont bother trying to track it down, but yeah, fuck us.
Am I the only one who conciders trying to understand the roots of terrorism and perhaps, oh I dont know, say try to make them just not want to kill us? I mean, I guess we could lock everyone up in prison's so that nobody can do anything, I guess we'd be safe then but, couldnt we say, not try our fucking hardest to piss off as many people as possible? Thats not to say that I dont advocate some kind of defense, but we're not even defending ourselves, we are just using it as a political tool without apparently even concidering DOING anything about it.
It makes me want to laugh, I can just imagine while the current administration is ordering troops to iraq, saying "Its just so unreasonable that they would hate us, there really is no reasoning with them, it must have nothing to do with us", reading civilian casualty reports thinking "what we need to do is win the hearts and minds of the people...I wonder how we could do that.."
Im wondering wether or not this is a smart thing to post, oh well I do have guns and it will take them hours if not days to find where I live, hope they have 4wheel drive

Either the Supreme Court will knock this down or Bush will have to threaten to lock them up as well. He's done more to curb Constitutional rights than anyone since Abraham Lincoln.
Ex parte Milligan, 1866:
The Supreme Court decided that the suspension of habeas corpus was lawful, but military tribunals did not apply to citizens in states that had upheld the authority of the Constitution and where civilian courts were still operating, and the Constitution of the United States only provided for suspension of habeas corpus if these courts are actually forced closed. In essence, the court ruled that military tribunals could not try civilians in areas where civil courts were open, even during times of war.
It further observed that during the suspension of the writ of habeas corpus, citizens may be only held without charges, not tried, and certainly not executed by military tribunals. After all, the writ of habeas corpus is not the right itself, but merely the ability to issue orders demanding the right's enforcement.

Welcome to Deus Ex I.
Anti terrorism means to catch anyone who doesn't bend to the side we want.

This is just sick.
Sometimes I wonder about the human condtion and as soon as I have an opinion; something like this throws a curveball and I go back to my original opinion that we are a stupid, stupid race.
I'm moving to Australia where this shit doesnt happen and America cant start a war with us (cos they'd get too bored on the flight over).
Bring back Clinton!
However then tehres the argument that the American people voted for Bush, so you brought it on yourselves...
Convict on 30/9/2006 at 07:23
There's also the argument that they didn't vote for Bush...
I think the Anglosphere is safe from America so I don't see any benefit from moving here apart in this context.

The Administration sroves its head straight up it's own ass yet again.
Freedom is precious, that's why it can only be understood when it's TAKEN AWAY!
Well uh actually, you forgot Poland.
All in all, nothing much to say on this; I didn't vote for the bastards.
I could try to be witty, but so much good wit by so many good people has been wasted on the asses already.
Oh, and fuck Texas too.
