Some of you may have already followed the misadventures of Something Awful regular Khad as he tried to (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=132248) play through Thief despite being awfully unsuited for it. The videos were hilarious, wrong and very occasionally even insightful. Contrary to what many of us expected, Khad actually completed the game, and sometimes even showed signs of some competence at it (like hiding in shadows, finding his way around a level or only using one flashbomb instead of throwing all of them at an opponent).
This time, he has started playing our favourite game Doos Ex, and there are already two episodes! Here is a link to the (
http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3389264) SA discussion thread, and here is one to (
http://letscrosby.com/index.php) his site.
I know TTLG and Khad will get along just as fine as in Thief's case, soooo... here is the thread for it. :D

Well Doosex ain't no Thief, but it looks promising.:thumb:

The two extras in the background aren't funny, though. They detract from the action.

I agree. One of the things I liked about the Thief LPs was that khad was making his own choices. I doubt these videos will be entertaining of other people are telling him what he should do.

I agree.
Also: ugh why do I watch these? What sick compulsion drives me back to this display of utter disrespect, impatience, and incompetence? Brrrrrrr.
Okay, vent over.
Although, I had a bit of a laugh at "I've got 3006 ammo!?"

The very reason why I didn't make this thread myself. As far as I'm concerned, either he drops them or it's not worth watching.

Yeah? That's good; I am giving it another try then.

Me too. I hope one of the later videos is called Nothing to DuClare. (I can't remember if that really is a spoiler...)
