According to the most famous conspiracy theories americans have never landed on the moon.
I've read those too, some of the stuff I've seen in their arguments is quite intriguing, but I think the Russians would have called us out on that if we had really faked the moon landings. Although I don't subscribe to the more colorful conspiracy stuff about aliens and all of that-I do think there is a lot of advanced technology that is kept out of the public eye.

shit i mean if you really think about it even maths is not strictly defined due to problems of incompleteness and essentially the logical foundations are open to question but it WORKS and that's what gets things done at the end of the day; there is no such thing as perfection
Bulgarian_Taffer on 12/11/2006 at 22:04
and yes, 60-70% of the people in BioFac have studied mathemathic analysis (?!?) in their high schools so they know what the lectors are talking about :)
the others... suck cocks :)

Wow, if some of the axioms are defined in a bit different way...

i don't really understand it because it goes against everything that i understand about structure and space
however it is my understanding that possibly the geometry of the universe on a global scale is non-euclidean, and that things only look the way they do on a local scale, like some kind of manifold
freaky shit

In conclusion: Better trust God and as Einstein said: God doesn't play dice.

I beleive he said that in reference to some matter concerning quantum mechanics and if you ask me it's a pretty foolish quote. However since we are just exchanging pleasantries about what little we know about science I am out of this thread until Aerothorn comes back and says GAH!

Most of it simply betrays a horrible ignorance of the subject. At first I thought "well you could never really prove it either way" but then I watched a special on the subject and realized that some of the footage basically could not have been taken in an atmosphere (dust billows), which effectively rules out filming in some earthbound desert.

I realize the topic has strayed but I don't see what the big deal with the rocket is. All payload haulers look like that.
