Whilst I am satisfied I can't help but think that you copy and pasted from a Google search so here are a few questions:
a) A ship travels for 10km on a bearing of 30 degrees. It then follows a bearing of 60 degrees for 20 kilometers. Calculate the distance of the ship from the starting position.
b) Write the augmented matrix for the following system of equations:
2x - y = 8
x + 2y = 14
c) Simplfy i^2, i^4
d) e^(i * pi) + 1 = ?

I suck at math and even I can do C, I think.
i = the square root of -1.
Therefore, i^2 = -1.
i^3 = 1.
i^4 = i (since i times 1 is, of course, i).

GED = General Educational Development Test = Test that certifies that you have a high-school graduate level education = equivalent of a high-school diploma (theoretically, not in reality as far as college applications go).
