Yep, extremely loose ones... which was the problem. I've been advised to only wear jocks before (earlier incident occurred at the gym a couple of years ago) but there weren't any clean, so I went with the comedy Simpsons pair.

It's probably not testicular torsion, I remember being hit in the groin with a football (lol Hans Moleman (lol Simpsons references)) and having this kind of low, creeping pain as Scots describes slowly moving upwards through my gut.
It's horrible for a while.

As I say, it's happened before and it was similarly unpleasant - although the pain wasn't as severe. It's not testicular torsion because I know what to look for there, it's just localised swelling and severe discomfort. :(

that's cool man but i'm telling you now my little brother lost a ball to testicular torsion after being hit by a football, and it couldn't hurt to get it checked out, balls are pretty sensitive things
