Hello, lately I've been noticing a bunch of strange things I need your guy's experties with for elders scroll on the xbox 360.
1)
Mystery at Harlun's Watch [Fighter's Guild]
When I head on over to the first checkpoint after entering the cave, nothing happens. I've already killed all the enemies in the cave and a message popped up which said, "I've killed all the trolls in the cave, now I should look for evidence that they are responsible for the disapearences." So I follow the marker and nothing happens. The marker is leading me into a place with one troll, 2 zombies, and 3 or 4 skeletons if that helps at all. How can I get past this mission!?
2)
Sheograth [daedric statue]
This is the mission where you go to Boarder Watch and make the prophecies come true. I fullfilled the 1st prophecy by using the stinky cheese to lure the rats, now the mission says to talk to Ri'bassa and see if he believes it to be part of the prophecies. When I talk to him there is only 2 options: Rhumors and the prophecies, when I click prophecies he says to run because their comming true, but when I make him hate me, and third option appears which is the "3 plagues" but when I click it he says he doesn't trust me enough to tell me about them, but when I make him like me again the option disapears! What do I do, no matter where and when I talk to him the mission wont continue!
3)
Clavicus Vile [daedric statue]
This is the one where you get Umbra's Sword. I got it and when I go talk to the statue I can either give it to him or not, no matter which I do, roughly 4 seconds after giving it to him the game freezes and requires a restart. I've tried going to Anvil before the 4 seconds arizes but it still freezes even when I'm far away from the statue. Is there anyway to prevent this?!
FYI: My game has only 1 small scrape on the left side from dust, otherwise it is crystal clear, and I've never seen a scrape that small affect any other game, so I'm wondering if I'm just missing something or if there's a way around these problems.
edit: I also can only get up to 85 armor. Is this a set limit or a bug?
1) This can happen if you have previously been to this cave, apparently the bodies of the villagers don't appear and the quest becomes stuck. This might be the problem. Also you need to kill all the trolls, so carefully go through the entire place, possibly using detect life.
Also did you will the wisps out the front?
2) Never done this quest, but found the following:
To bring the rats, take the Olroy wedge of cheese from a display box in the Border Watch Inn (note that the case has a very hard lock, and is located in plain sight, so you'll need good Sneak and Security to do this without getting a bounty. Alternatively, you could pickpocket the key from S'thasa.) and place it in the cooking pot outside of the inn, and wait a bit. Rats will appear on the east side of town.
After the rats have come, Ri'Bassa will run around placing rat poison on the ground for them. After the rats die take the rat poison and head over to the sheep pen, just south of the Inn.
Sprinkle the rat poison in the feed trough, the sheep will gobble it up instantly, then stand back and watch as they succumb to the domino effect of death.
Once you have completed the first two prophecies, Sheogorath will complete the third and final one.
3) I never had this problem, very strange. Do you have the dog statue in your inventory? (not even sure you can remove it!)
Err, if you can't finish the quest, it ain't that bad. I haven't finished it yet as I couldn't decide which item I wanted. This has a bonus as Umbra is still a quest item meaning it ways nothing. The only annoyance is the unfinished quest in your journal (but then I've got loads of those!).
Finally, armour is caped at 85, no matter what. This is to stop you becoming stupidly powerful!
I suggest you check out the UESP pages for quest info if you have problems in the future, they're very good. (

Oh, and this should be in cheats/hints etc, not general chat, especially not spoilered!

Thanks a bunch for the help, and sorry I placed this thread in the wrong area; I have one last question.
On the Mage's Guild quest with the pillar there is the damage magica and fortify magica spells required for the last two parts of the pillar. I accidentally used the spells that were in the chest near the person who reads out the translations, so where can I get those two spells?
The Arcane University or Mage Guilds or shops in the Market Quarter. Anywhere that sells scrolls really

I've killed all the whisps and all the trolls, the mission even says I've killed all the trolls, but still nothing happens. I did what you said with the rat poison and it all worked out! :) Finally the problem with Umbra still exists and I do have that dog statue, even though I'm not sure where I got it from.
Also I'm still stuck trying to find the fortify magika on other spell, I've searched all over and still no success, could anyone please help me?

Be advised that the Fortify Magicka spell you need is one that must be directed at the pillar, of course, when most if not all scrolls will be of the 'on self' variety. I would suggest that, as you have access to the Arcane University and possibly Frostcrag Spire, you buy a cheap Fortify Magicka spell and create a very low-power version of Fortify Magicka on touch, maybe one point or so.

I'm sorry, it sounds like you may be screwed with the Fighters Guild quest. Try going back to the guy you got the mission from and see if it is possible to end the quest there. The only other thing would be to search the official elderscroll forums, beware, they are full of retards.
RE Umbra, I honestly wouldn't worry about it. Unless you were trying to do all the shrine quests, in which case, again, I'm afriad you're screwed. Personally I would just stick with the zero weight sword, what more could you want?!?
At least I managed to sort one of your problems!
And yeah, I agree with Matthew, don't forget the magicka spells need to be on other. If you can't find them then your best bet is the Arcane University, where you can make the spell yourself, as long as you have a spell with the drain/fortify magicka effect already. i.e., by a on self spell of the correct type, which should be easy enough, and then from that create an on other variant...
