The above quote is a (close) suggestion of Red's command -- at least this is the way I typed it into the console.
This is what happened:
After hitting enter, the little icon popped up at the bottem of the screen which showed I had 'Porphyric Hemophilia' Restore Fatigue 1 pt. Despite the fact I understood this term to be a form of metabolic liver disease everyone I talked to stated I had a common disease and that I should go to the Temple to get a cure. And yes, they were correct, the cure common disease eliminated 'Porphyric Hemophilia' from my character. Is this what is suppose to happen ? Is this disease progressive in a character ? I mean, does it go beyond the 1 pt. as time elapses ?

After you're infected with Poryphric Hemophilia, and have slept for 3 days, you will turn into a full vampire. Until the 3 days is up, you can be cured. Afterwards however, you have to find Bal Ur to be cured.
Hope this helps.

Thanks ElectricVoodoo and Red,
I became a full vampire. I ended up dumping the vamp save because of the horror it/I created in everyone. All the positive attributes of a vampire never show up in my stats/character chart for some reason. I was definately weaker taking on AI than I was before I changed. It was an interest trip through Morrowind tho.
Thanks again,
