I could swear that before I patched Bloodmoon the Nordic mail armour (not the crappy ringmail stuff, but the good high armour rating one) was medium armour. Now it's heavy. What's happened?
Furthermore, I finally decided to go beat Dagoth Ur, and so I took a break from sunny Solstheim, picked up the Dagoth-beating kit from my stronghold, and headed to Vivec to pray at the Stop the Moon shrine. I figured that it would be a good plan to fly over the Red Mountain region, to fill missing bitsa of map etc. I prayed, donated the potion, the shrine went whoosh as normal- but I did not levitate! I took off Wraithguard, just in case- nothing. Now I am really confused. I can still levitate using a spell.
I cannot remember when I last used that shrine- it may have been before I installed Bloodmoon or the patch. I know I used it and it worked when I had Tribunal already.
Any thoughts? It's not a massive inconvenience to this character, but it will be to the others if the shrine doesn't work for them either.

Edit: I just reread the patch notes and it does say that the Nordic mail and some other armours' weights now display correctly- but nothing about the shrine.

You definately don't have any form of spell absorption? I'm play under the Atronarch sign and I have to use 3-4 potions until the effect takes place...
Still the woman wondering about nearby re-generates them for sale so it's not a prob.

I tried several times, and it has never happened before, so having it happen three times in a row was weird. I'll check next time I play, I hope this is it.

I've seen this on the official forums, and it would appear that was a change made in the patch.

Argh! I checked the official forums but could not find the info, and I searched for it quite diligently. Do you remember which section it was in?
But it looks to me like i'll have to play my other characters without the Bloodmoon expansion for a while, because I want to fly. Which brings me to my next question: can I untick Bloodmoon before playing the game, or must I reinstall the lot minus Bloodmoon, after I finished with this character? My other characters have not been played since installing BM, but I presume that once I play any char with the expanson, the savegame will not work without it?
Maybe Bethesda will release a better patch.

Haha, I'm just imagining a pissed off Ania screaming at the shrine, 'Damnit work!' as she jumps around in vain trying to reach that shithole in the sky.

I did not scream. I growled.

Now that's not fun. You can be such a downer, Ania.
