I have a folder with desktop images and a little app called Wimpwall which selects a random image from that folder on startup and puts it up as the wallpaper.

One of my friends has a background that is a constantly looping 15 sec clip from LOTR.
You know I never quite understood the whole wallpaper craze. I'm down for something thats nice and pleasing when you boot up the comp, but people who go with those fancy rotating wallpapers and shit... well,, if you sit at your computer staring at your wallpaper, I think you're doing it wrong :/
Same with screensavers. Mine's just the default windows logo jumping around. Because if my screen saver comes up while I'm at the computer, I move my mouse to make it go away. And if I'm not at my computer... I can't see it. so whats the point?
EDIT:
But very well, let me PLAY YOUR CRUEL GAME:

No wallpaper, no screen saver. Just the files.

No files, because that's what Start menu is for.
Windows version on the desktop to optically balance the My Computer icon.
Also, the background color is the same color as the darkest shade of blue on window bars.
