If you look at Robin's post, the part in bold says "Not be published or displayed publicly in any way". Hosting it anywhere is publishing it, so that particular personal use only license would not allow us to upload it to the repository.
Also, your response to Larry was a bit ridiculous. He did preface his comment with "Forgive my ignorance of Portugese", but you then proceeded to lecture him as if he were saying he knew more about your language than you do. It was obvious, to me at least, that that was not his intent.
I understood his sentence as a provocative question, after what i said above, but he pm me to clarify the issue above. still the fact of questioning a portuguese person "how is gajo an insult " when i previously said: "in my country (Portugal) is a low way of addressing someone which means "Gajo" ".It sounded like a provocation, but is not because LarryG was just actually with doubts why "gajo" is an insult.

Let's all just chalk this up to a misunderstanding based on a poor translation between colloquial English and colloquial Portuguese and put this to bed, shall we?
We need to recognize that not everyone is a native English speaker and try not to get your buns in a bunch if someone reacts in what seems to be an unexpectedly hostile way. Similarly, considering the amount of free help given, others who don't speak English as a native should just not get their knickers out of sorts when they read something that they think is insulting. Folk wouldn't be trying to help if they wanted to diss you. It just may be that you don't speak English as well as you think you do. Sheesh!

I agree LarryG and i admit i misunderstand many of what is said here, also not knowing well some people here i never know if someone holds anger towards me because i said somewhere in ttlg forums that Trump is a dick, Brexit was one of the worst things that happen in Britain , Mélenchon and Marine le Pen are two idiots. if i offended someone with those statements my apologize. now let's close the subject of "dude" and stick to the main subject.

Yes, please.

Yep, and the main subject is: You can upload some object but make sure the author is credited and the licence is not Personnal or Commercial.
Then we will be certified to avoid all problems. Showing the source is maybe not enough in my honest opinion because the website from where you get all your stuff to convert are not always the main source of these objects, it is reuploading of objects made somewhere else.
The best will be to ask the authors directly if they agree about uploading their stuff, then showing their message of agreements to R Soul. Then no risks and everybody is happy :)
If the author is not mentionned (or impossible to contact but the licence is commercial/personnal) skip the object and take another one.

Hi Jordan, unfortunately i can't upload all objects that are credit, because they can not be hosted in other sites at their request.
Look... i´m sorry for my previous behavior, i was unfair with you, if you want i can continue hosting the T2X objects.
Vraiment, parfois je suis un peu fou.

Be extra sure to check if the object isn't ripped from a game, a good way of doing so is to browse this site (
https://www.models-resource.com/) for the sources

I wasn't honest with you guys, but i can recognize when an object comes from a game, i played most of the games that are in the market, except Alien and Duke nuken, also these object have a specific screenshot with a
the models presented have a certain design and texture that i can immediately recognize as a model riped from a game, and the funny thing is that usually these objects are the easiest ones to convert to bin file, because they have very few faces/polys and they include only one single texture. Aslo objects ripped from games are never credited.
Donc, se je peux envoyer quelques objets, alors ça sera seulement certains objets. et ceux ne sont pas beaucoup selon ce que je vois.
I have an idea guys, what if before i host anything to object repository i post here the object in question and any of you give me green light to host it. because there might be indications i might miss.

another question, aren't we allowed to use objects from games that have at least 10 years?
john9818a on 15/5/2017 at 05:07
I would say no. For one those companies still hold the intellectual rights to their games which includes content & resources. Two, there should be a division between games... meaning no interchanging of content where it wasn't meant to be used. When LGS gave us the editor they put a great deal of trust into our hands. Even though some members of LGS might not care because of how long it's been since the game was released, we don't need to develop a reputation of harvesting resorces from all over video game land. Doing so might jeapordize any release of editors for future games. Besides, we have enough talent here that can pretty much come up with any objects that are needed. :)
In my upcoming mission I have many different custom objects that I made myself because they simply didn't exist anywhere else, and I wouldn't feel right about porting over objects from other games. One thing I forgot to mention is that technically speaking games from different publishers are competition to each other, and it wouldn't be in their best interest to have their content used in competing publishers or even obsolete games.
