He deleted all the T2x stuff he uploaded, leaving only the problematic objects; talk about a childish and passive-agressive behavior.

Hopefully he can only delete things that he uploaded?

Did the T2X people ever give permission to use their resources outside of T2X missions? I vaguely remember someone saying he'd look in to it, or that he didn't know about the clause, but it would be nice to know (better late than never).

Fett did eventually, I think the original notion that their permission was highly restrictive turned out to be a misunderstanding. I'll try to find the thread.
Edit
Turns out it was pretty restrictive, but eventually in 2010 Fett and Duncan kinda said it was OK, but I don't know if that amounts to blanket permission since they are not the whole team. (

Thanks for the links. Posts restored.
Anyone who finds an object that shouldn't be on the site is welcome to post a link.

Don't put too much effort into something that should have been someone else's work, Jordan.

You're right but Cardia will never do it.
Some of these object could have been ripped out from games or author with no permission.
And there still his links to download objects credited as "Unknown Author".
But some ARE known author and should be credited! So If I don't check them and Cardia refuse to check, who will do it?
Or perhaps R Soul could ask him to fix his credits?

Thanks for your effort FireMage. Objects from other games will be removed. I was initially unsure about what to do with the tf3dm objects, since they are free, but then I read about the licenses. In the example of the garden bench, it as a "Personal Use License", defined in the terms and conditions as:
Quote:
You may use "Personal Use" Content only for private projects, testing.
Not be published or displayed publicly in any way. That rules out hosting them on TOR. If someone downloads the object, converts it and uses it in an FM, and releases that FM, does that not count as publishing? Or what if someone makes a highly detail city or garden scene in Blender/3dsMax, puts in that bench and releases a rendered screenshot? Isn't that displaying? I can't see why the author would want to prohibit that, but it seems like the license does that. :weird:
