"Error establishing a database connection"...

It's hit and miss for me. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. So far, it's always worked by adding www.

Cardia, I do not know, why do we need all these modern things. And why did you put a tag as "cardia"? Did you make all these objects? I know that one of these objects was created Elvis, at least he said so.
Novice will use all this useless killing-the-atmosphere stuff. If desired any man can download it from many free model sites. The main task of Repository: to collect all objects from different missions to help authors.
I do not know what is the point to convert the Thief repository to a landfill. Enlighten me.

I think Cardia uses these objects in his modern day mission, and I think it's fine to have them in there for any authors who want to do a modern-day mission (I know I wanna do one one day, so I'm happy for those items to be on the repository).
Unna Oertdottir on 20/2/2017 at 15:09
He's not the author. That's the point.

I was determined to upload all of T2x, Firemage and CoSaS3 objects but I ended up bitting more than I could chew; don't have the time for nothing anymore.
Since you're on a upload binge, can you upload them too Cardia? :D
Yandros on 20/2/2017 at 16:55
I agree with Soul Tear and Unna - Cardia shouldn't be tagging himself if all he did was upload the object (that goes for everyone, not just Cardia, of course). The actual author/creator, when known, should be tagged instead. That helps to make sure proper attribution is given when the object is used in a mission.

I´m hosting everyday an object from free sites, during weekends i host objects that goes well with the thief world, the candlestick and the vase for example , objects that can be used in other games, most of these object don´t mention who's the author, i might tag my name in object repository, but if you read in the readme file inside the objects its says either object from unknown author or it says the name of its author. The only thing that says about me is that it was an object converted to bin file, i´m hosting also modern objects because other authors like me might want to make modern missions or simply use modern object just like i´m doing for my current campaign of 4 maps. I will untag my name. Know this that i don't like to be credited for something i didn't do, i´m not a plagiarist, i´ve never created objects, but like i said the readme files in the objects i host it mentions that i only converted them to bin file, for the for the DC project i only sort them out. Not all authors now how to convert objects to bin files, so this is a favor i´m doing to them, and i´m not talking just about modern objects but also form other times. Soul Tear i don't admit that you´re saying that i´ve hosted an object from Elvis without crediting him, all objects i´ve hosted sp far are either from Dale, DC project and the rest from free objects, whose are either or not credited . I don't know what's your problem, but you don't own object repository ,the site wasn't made just for your medieval settings, the site is for dromers to download objects they seek and that includes any kind of object even if it is a dildo.
Squadarofl , tu peux me envoyer les objects de T2x, je les mettre dans le site "object repository ", pas de problem pour moi, je peux le faire. En ce moment j'ai beacoup de temps.
Cardia on 20/2/2017 at 17:44
Alright i have untaged my name in the objects i´ve hosted from the free sites, i will untag later my name from the Dc objects. I personally don't like being credit fro something i didn't do. It seems the object from Elvis is a statue who's name has been updated by the owner of the site "Object Repository". Honestly i didn't know the object was from him i found it here uncredited:
(
http://tf3dm.com/3d-model/statue-24805.html)
and as you can see the object is not credited.
Good thing this issue was brought up. To soul Tear, yandros and Unna you're right it doesn't make sense to include these object under my name just because i host them. But i will continue hosting objects either they are modern or medieval or whatever. Because before using blender i always appreciate that someone would host many types of objects, for example modern pbjects that were useful for my old mission "melancholy in Porto", "Ana's secret" and "Umbelina".

Thanks, Pedro. I wasn't trying to criticize, just wanted to talk about best practice here. I agree you should keep uploading any objects you use and think other authors might use, regardless of them being the traditional Thiefy medieval style or not. Thanks for all the work you've done uploading them for all of us!
