I wouldn't think there are any issues with Deep Cover objects since they were released to TTLG for distribution. The thing to remember is that you should upload only objects that you have rights to, generally speaking that you yourself created or which the author released into the public domain. It isn't for things that you ripped from a game.

The DC assets were released by an ex-dev anonymously, so I would say that doesn't sound very legit and/or legal. Still, the game was never released and LGS is gone, so probably no issues. I'm guessing no current company has the rights to Deep Cover. Even if they did and made the game, they likely wouldn't be using these resources.

whatever, you guys have alot of problems with laws regarding little things, i will use SS2 objects regardless the law infringements i'm making, and nothing bad will happen to me:

I know what a significant effort is is to upload a huge number of objects, so I appreciate you taking the time to remove them. On the subject of "little things", no-one will make a fuss if a few objects from another game are shared, but things can change if the number keeps going up.

Pedro, no one said you shouldn't use them, just that they shouldn't be uploaded to the repo since they're not made by us, they were made by LGS. We also appreciate all the time you spent packaging and uploading them, and it sucks that you had to delete them, but there were questions about it raised at the time which you ignored or didn't understand.

Another try: there are several objects on OR, listed under my name, but they aren't made by me, they are original objects from System Shock 2. Could you please remove my name as author? I don't want to get credit for something I haven't made.

Or better delete them, there are upgrades for many objects in SHTUP or Vurt's mods. :)
