Interesting article, but who said Clinton wanted to be a Supreme Court justice?
She
wants to be president, but that's not going to happen this year. She's currently weighing what her other possible options are.
She's got a plan to bow out. She's far too politically savvy to pound away at this thing until the convention.

failed dc bar exam lol
Only it won't just be me poking fun to disguise my own worries of failing the bar, it'll be people who mean it and won't shut up about it. I don't think she's got a prayer of being confirmed and I think it'd be an unwise move on Obama's part. Although maybe republicans will find her conservative enough and will be glad to get her locked up away from politics, I dunno.

Hope you don't mind me re-using this thread rather than creating a separate one, but (
http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/chi-obama-curious-george-shirt-080514-ht,0,348581.story) this is what Obama is up against nowadays. The bar-owner who's selling the shirt claims otherwise, but what the bold-faced liar is doing isn't any different than driving around with a noose tied to his tailgate. Those of you who are oblivious to how racist this country has become, has always been, should see how many Clinton-supporting Democrats (that's right; Democrats) are refusing to support Obama simply because he's black. On the other hand, many Obama-supporters expressed that they would fall in line with the other Democrats if Clinton were to be nominated. Maybe it's just that I got older and started paying more attention to this kind of things, but recently I've noticed what a disgusting state this country is in.

Not on subject but it just struck me: Political happenings are no less stupid that they were years ago, but at lest they're much more bearable thanks to Internet. I mean just look at (

You could say parodies were always done in newspapers, but no newspaper would publish Lemonparty shopped to Obama, Clinton and McCain. And all non-americans demanded it to be done.

Pastor Roger Byrd said that he just wanted to get people
thinking. So last Thursday, he put a new message on the sign at the Jonesville Church of God.
It reads: "Obama, Osama, hmm, are they brothers?"
It really gets you thinkin', eh? Like thinking about why the fuck I'm still in this part of the country...
(yes, I live half an hour from this church, I'm sad to say. AND I work with a guy who goes there and epitomizes everything that is wrong with organized religion in the states.)

What about tall floppy eared man?
I don't think there were too many people thrilled at the prospect of Costello being PM if and when Little Johnny retired.

I'd actually guess that most Clinton supporters don't currently like Obama simply because this extended primary is causing serious entrenchment on both sides. When the other guy is constantly attacking your candidate it's easy to forget that his/her stance on every issue is virtually identical.
Once Hillary endorses Obama and campaigns for him most of her supporters will grudgingly fall in line.
What Obama supporters need to do right now is be gracious in victory and take a step back from the battle zone. We need Clinton's camp whether we like it or not. Time to make nice.
Also, "how racist this country has become?" Don't you have it reversed? We're still racist, yeah, but we're getting better.

Maybe it's just a southern USA type of thing but I can't go one friggin' day without hearing about "those damn Chinese" or "those bastard terrorist Muslims" or Mexicans, Indians, French, or Jews. Oddly enough I very rarely hear any racist remarks towards black people but it seems like every other goddamn color is free game.
So yeah, racism is definitely still very prevalent in this part of the country, even if the racist bigots have shifted focus (and blame for all of America's perceived faults) towards every other person on the planet.
