Obama himself said the same thing as Ferraro in a Chicago Tribune article - an article POSTED ON HIS OWN WEBSITE at the time of the Ferraro affair (it still is!).
I've been digging for ten minutes and haven't been able to find it. Got a link?

I was one of those Obama or McCain types and for good reason: if Hillary got the nod and the eventual presidency, that would put America under the leadership of two families for over 2 decades.

I would have been Obama or McCain if not for how thoroughly McCain has sold himself out during his candidacy. The new McCain seems clueless, off message, and dispirited. It's puzzling, as the McCain of old could really give Obama a run for his money.
Had Hillary become the Democratic nominee, I'm not exactly sure what I would have done in November. While her stance on the issues lines up more closely with mine, her disaster of a campaign doesn't exactly inspire confidence in her ability to lead. It's frustrating, as there's a great president in there somewhere, but it somehow got lost in the dirty politics and blatant disregard for the rules. If Hillary had adopted a 50 state grassroots strategy and kept things clean she would have been the nominee, which is basically to say "had she rejected Clintonism outright."

The media goes bananas over Obama's "57 states" slip but hasn't bothered to explore how much McCain has outright contradicted his own political standpoints on national television? And the huggy Neocon bunch out there still think there's a liberal conspiracy in the media?

What?
Ever since Clinton bowed out it's been open season, and Mccain has been getting hit every bit as much as Obama. I'd go so far as to say even more so.
As things stand ATM, the Mccain 'tax-plan' story has a hell of a lot more teeth than Obama's '57 states' quip.
I've even seen Mccain getting hammered (and rightly so) on various right of center programs recently, from 'Hannity & Colmes' to 'Joe Scarbrough'.

The "57 states" slip by Sen. Obama is being reported on right wing talk radio as in reality Obama meaning the "57 islamic states". rofl! Yeah, I know. I know. Whats sad is that some Americans believe it to be true. :tsktsk:
Rush Limbaugh (drug addict) called him a "half-rican", refering to his heritage and Glenn Beck (alcoholic) called him a "marxist" on national television. rofl!

For all of you who are saying you are libertarians. I hope you have actually read and understand the party platform. In case you haven't:

Well have you read and understood it?
Are you suggesting that any change proposed there is baaad?

Anarchocapitalists amuse me. Not only it's a paradox, but the term Libertarian has been stolen from the left. In fact, certain AnarchoCommunist has invented it in middle of 19th century to describe himself.

Fox News E. D. Hill calls Barack Obama + Michelle Obama campaign rally handshake a "terrorist fist jab?" on national television.
