I cannot believe that I am defending BEAR but I have to say grip that I agree with him. Look, if we're going to have a stimulus, can they stop bitching over this and that? it's still going to be over $700b either way! every day it was held up was a day wasted, in my opinion, and worst of all it's being wasted over the republican party trying to 'define itself.'
Ya know what's worse than having a stimulus? having a stimulus that is polluted by political agendas. I believe that Obama genuinly wants to help the economy and had no agenda besides getting a core bill out the door and out the door quick. The people whining about small parts of this bill are missing the point of it, and obviously still have a job...
Is there waste? yes, but why the FUCK are we arguing about a few dozen billion when we've already thrown over 100 at AIG alone with no opposition on either side?! being penny smart but dollar stupid helps no one. I don't support the stimulus in any way shape or form, but if we're going to have one, let's stop prentending like saving a little here and there makes a big difference and get it over with.

Do you just have doubts or have you completely written Obama (and this stimulus bill) off after roughly 2% of his term (and what, two weeks of the stimulus bill being in effect?) because honestly from your posts in this thread it's kind of hard to tell and I think that's why you're feeling harassed.

basically while everyone is certainly free to complain about the stuff they don't like, if someone is complaining about this administration without at least noticing the improvements it's already made they may as well join the GOP and let Rush tell them what to do for the rest of their lives
