Receiving this error in MS Event Viewer on recently installed Sparkle 9800GTX+ PCI-E Video Card on each startup. PSU is Corsair 650W PSU, plenty of power on 12V+ single rail. Cleaning with Driver Sweeper tool and reinstall of display driver, error still remains. Card gpu temp is 41 C (105 F) at idle using CPUID Hardware Monitor. Card fan at 40% at idle.
Getting infinite loop error on a Painkiller game (perfect visual) after one hour of gaming. Trine demo game runs perfect. Majesty 2 demo, textures are all wrong.
Would a video card bios flash help? Where to find updated bios for 9800GTX+ card. Cooling problem?
Previous onboard graphics visuals were perfect, no errors whatsoever on any game or any event ID errors.
Using latest version of Nvidia display drivers 190.62. Will try 190.38 version.

ok..
1st completley uninstall the currently installed driver, reboot and then run nasty file remover. Then install the latest WHQL driver and reboot.
If the above dosent fix it then its either the game, or the card, or possible the PSU.

I'll try a few things before a full reformat. That might clear some things up as before. NV Event ID 14 error, there is no clear reason or answer on various tech forums searching the 'net. Thought perhaps you had seen it before. DXDiag gives no error. Hope I did not buy a hunk of metal. :erg:
