Has anyone tried a running a Geforce GTX275 896MB with the Thief trilogy + SS2? I'm getting one next week.
I've read that it's pretty much a GTX280 with 55nm shrunken core (runs cooler and faster), less VRAM, 128MB less VRAM and a narrower memory interface (less bandwidth). The 280 is sold out in country, so that ain't an option.
Thanks in advance.

and no slowdowns (low fps) with lots of water/particle-like effects in sight (smoke/rain/snow etc)? What about fog (present or not)?
which gfx driver version, OS and ddfix version?
...(asking coz) I'm getting pretty fed up with my Radeon and ATI (their drivers quality, development/improvement pace and so on) in general, so I'm interested in knowing how NV fares currently in T1+2/SS2 and other older classic games ( < D3D8 = pre shaders pipeline) in general.
PS I've read that there's a chance that ddfix development will resume (by another person - not Timeslip) - is that true? That would be just *great*! (Especially if it would get reported to D3D9/10 renderer again, this time without side-effects and issues from ddfix 1.0-1.1 - that because D3D6 (and around) support in current hardware/drivers is really, really awful right now - and will get only *worse* in time, meaning ddfix itself (D3D6 ver) would get totally broken 1 fine day).
