NPC's don't see me in MW, just main quest characters and some others...

Morrowind problem:

Hello. I am at Chapter 4 latter part and most of the NPC's cannot see me. They say something like "Is someone there?" Then there's a red "Goodbye" pick and that's it.
The main character's I need to talk to in Balmoral I can talk to, 2 of them, and the Khajit's can see/talk to me also plus most Ordinators.

This happened going to Vivec via the Mudan Grotto by mistake from Balmoral. I found the save game when everybody was still talking to me.

I am a Level 1 Nord.

I have been cheating. My Magicka and Fatigue numbers are like over 800. My health is low at like 55.
I used God mode only a little and turned that off. My Mysticism stat number is like 800 but most of the other skill stats are more normal. I have used water walking cheat, it is mostly on. I used the underwater breathing cheat also.

Ever since I killed the black assassin I have worn his armor. It's possible I have the sneak button on by mistake. I have not used a Chameleon or Invis. spell yet at all.

I do not want to go back and lose like 2 hours of gameplay. I ditched the assasins suit and am wearing the robe of the guy who fell from space. It made no difference.

Has anybody seen this type of problem before?

I need to talk to the other folks. What can do?
The enemies do not see me either.

Note I accidentally fireballed a priest in Vivec. and paid the fine...

I will try turning off some of the cheats and lower some of the values and see if folks pick me up.

Even if I go back to the save game I will need to know what the problem is to correct it.

That's an odd one. As you probably know, NPC's usually only give you that particular repsonse when you're invisible. You have to be holding the sneak button down to be sneaking, so it seems unlikely that you're in sneak mode without knowing it.
The only thing I can think of is that you've equipped some kind of magical item which is having this effect on you.....have you tried unequipping everything in your inventory and seeing if that makes a difference?

Hi. I got to Vivec and reset my Magicka to like 100 but no difference.

I've only got basic clothing on and bare-fisted, etc with no change.

The set player level cheat doesn't seem to be working. Nothing changed. This is one of the things I messed with at Mudan Grotto when the problems began.

I figured out the sneak button thats not the problem.

By "equip" I assume you mean the things on the figure on the left side of the screen?
And they're highlighted in the boxes also...on the items side..

I just don't know.

I will review the invis stuff and see what's there if anything. Like I said the important folks in the quest tasks can talk to me.

try going to your magic screen and going to the top it will show a list of constant effects(at least it will on the x-box version) maybe you accidently put a code in to make yourself invisible? or a very high chameleon level?

lol and 2 hours(I'm sure its been more by now) isn't really that long in the morrow wind world :cheeky:

The setlevel cheat only works if you type in the code, save and load.

What happens if you steal something right before there eyes? Do they see that?
