oh, the ferrets wouldn't devour the cake

What a fantastic menu! (I take it you have no vegetarian friends or family...)
May your marriage exceed your expectations. I hope you're very happy.

Although *verbally* I'm the equivalent of a fencer wielding a rubber chicken (useless but amusing), I'll have you know that I'm quite capable of defending myself physically.
Apparently, I was a samurai in a previous life! (I was hoping for a ninja(r) :( )

That was my very first thought on reading this thread. I would have said something but I didn't want to sound churlish :) (in any case I imagine you guys have far more important things to worry about in SA than animal welfare!)
Hope you have a nice wedding Shayde.

The only dietary issues in our guests are those that don't eat red meat or those that are hallaal, and this menu is fine for that.
The vegetarians... let them eat cake! :cheeky:

Yeah, we didn't have a vegetarian option either, it was an antipasto of cheeses and meat followed by a zucchini-flower pasta and there was a choice of fillet steak crostini or grilled sea bass.

Them's some happy looking people in that first picture. :D
