Yeah, if you keep meat frozen past a certain time (sometimes as quickly as 1 year), the ice crystals break down the molecules and it becomes unpalatable.
I once forgot a steak in my freezer for a couple years, and when I found it, it looked beige :eww:
On a related note I was traveling a few years ago and stayed in a share house with a bunch of other backpackers. I'd bought some meat and put it in the freezer and defrosted it to cook. Then someone threw it out, and I asked them why and they said it was past the use-by date.
I tried explaining that it was in the freezer for the whole ~10 days since I got it, but they insisted that it was no good because it was past the use-by date. So they had literally no idea how a freezer works. I think they were kids straight out of home and never had to do anything for themselves, assumed they knew everything about everything despite being clearly out of their depth on such topics as how to use a freezer.

(
https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/spacex-musk-safety/)
Quote:
Musk himself at times appeared cavalier about safety on visits to SpaceX sites: Four employees said he sometimes played with a novelty flamethrower and discouraged workers from wearing safety yellow because he dislikes bright colors.
...
Musk also became known in California and Texas for ordering machinery that was painted in industrial safety yellow to be repainted black or blue because of his aversion to bright colors, according to three former SpaceX supervisors. Managers also sometimes told workers to avoid wearing safety-yellow vests around Musk, or to replace yellow safety tape with red, the supervisors said.
...
Reuters documented at least 600 previously unreported workplace injuries at Musk's rocket company: crushed limbs, amputations, electrocutions, head and eye wounds and one death. SpaceX employees say they're paying the price for the billionaire's push to colonize space at breakneck speed.
Yeah, a complete dickhead who's just failed upwards.

How about fixing Space Ship One before we infect the solar system.
A Mars settlement is a deadly pipe dream until you have at least built a colony on the moon. To export a healthy sample of our genome off planet, you need hundreds if not thousands of breeders. A handful of horny cultists on Mars is an experiment waiting to fail. Also, surface habitats are a non starter on either the moon or Mars. All those lovely, hand picked chromosomes won't last long, bathed in unfiltered radiation and pressurised pup-tents on Mars will have a tough time against sand storms, no matter how hardened you think you made them.
Besides, our robot masters will beat us to the punch. No air, no food, no water, no returns - no problem. So long, meat puppets, and thanks for all the algorithms.

The Regime is very unhappy that Musk is allowing dissent on Twitter. The play is: "Go back to the practice of banning everyone that we tell you to ban, and the weekly OSHA inspections and enormous fines will stop."
In other news: (
https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/11/11/nordstream-bombing-ukraine-chervinsky/)
It turns out PutinHitler did not blow up his own country's pipeline after all. As I said.
Quote:
A senior Ukrainian military officer with deep ties to the country's intelligence services played a central role in the bombing of the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline last year, according to officials in Ukraine and elsewhere in Europe, as well as other people knowledgeable about the details of the covert operation.
Quote:
Roman Chervinsky, a decorated 48-year-old colonel who served in Ukraine's Special Operations Forces, was the “coordinator” of the Nord Stream operation, people familiar with his role said, managing logistics and support for a six-person team that rented a sailboat under false identities and used deep-sea diving equipment to place explosive charges on the gas pipelines.

I think it is mostly the allowing of outright lies that folks dislike on twit. That and the obvious propaganda. No skin off my nose because I don't twit. However there are always the gullible Q types who think Biden is chem-trailing pedo genes that will mind alter god fearing Americans into the godless behavior they fantasize about to consider. Twit tends to send them down a crazy trail to hell where Trump is a hero for trying to deny election results and attempting to mobilize redneck factions into keeping him in power. No telling what those nuts will do once they start frothing at the mouth. Got to find some excuse to use that bunker full of weapons I suppose.
Also, good for Ukraine if that is true. Or wouldn't you think so?

Hmmm well many times those "obvious lies" we find out are true a few years later.

The Germans who have been suffering through harsh winters without the fuel from that pipeline might disagree.

No. Not a single time. There are more lies a few years later but that is all. Mostly they hope the original lies will miraculously fly but they don't. And if you are about to spout that crap about Epstein don't. Fat boy was not right about democrat pizza parlor basements. That was crap also. That there was a pedo island was never mentioned except by reporters at the NY Times. That original story was killed for lack of supporting evidence on the first round but later gained enough evidence to be reported by reputable sources and those were NOT Q.

No again. The Germans found a way before the pipeline which had not been in service long anyway. Also they should appreciate a world free of encroachment by another country if anyone does.
