i have followed every tutorial , read and applied each thread that shows how to runl thief Gold on win7 but couldn't be able to play it. i am able to install it properly but after starting the game it shows main menu and then gets crashed.

When and how exactly does it crash? Does it crash on the main menu after a few seconds, or when you start a game, or what?
