4. Where can you get large amounts of raw glass?
5. How does killing a guard affect the other ones? Will they dislike me more?
6. I saw a glass dagger not too long ago. Are there any glass claymores as well?
Gothik on 1/2/2005 at 19:18
4. In a Glass Mine, sometimes you'll also find bits of it in various Dwemer Ruins.
5. Generally if any others see you, they will attack. If anyone else sees it (and sometimes even if they don't) it will be a crime and you'll be accosted by every guard to pay the fine, do the time or fight you if you refuse the former two. Also depends if it's a mission specific kill or not or if they've attacked you first.
6. There are glass claymores, longswords, axes, staffs, throwing knives, throwing stars and arrows

4. My search got me too ghost gate. There I raided a glass mine for more glass then I could carry. Then I found a merchant in the tower of dawn who sold premade glass armour. So the only logical thing too do was robbing him blind and selling the armour that I didn´t need in Mournhold. I gots teh bling-bling now!
5. I just wanted too know before using my perfect plan for getting rich quick.
Step:
1. Kill a guard.
2. Pay the thieves guild too remove the bounty.
3. Sell the armour.
4.
5. PROFIT!
6. w00t the w00tage! Are they better than adamantium claymores?
Gothik on 2/2/2005 at 01:32
Well if your plan is to attack guards for their stuff, a cheaper alternative to paying off the Thieves Guild is to boost your speechcraft skill and taunt the guards into attacking you - that way no fine because it's not a crime.
Also if you haven't found it already there's an almost complete set of Glass Armour you can steal at the Ald'Ruhn Fighters Guild, hidden behind a locked door. It's in a chest that may be also locked, but I don't think that it is.
Not sure about the Glass verses Adamantium stuff, however if you want the most powerful (and high selling price) weapons you're going to have to go hunting for Daedric ones.

Adamantium Claymore:
Weight: 50
Value: 10,000
Health: 4,000
Enchantment: 150
Speed: 1
Damage:
Chop 10 - 40
Slash 10 - 40
Thrust 10 - 30
It is a normal weapon.
Glass Claymore:
Weight: 16.2
Value: 32,000
Health: 840
Enchantment: 42
Speed: 1.25
Damage:
Chop 1 - 45
Slash 1 - 39
Thrust 1 - 27
Not a normal weapon; ignores Normal Weapon Resistance.
Adamantium Pros:
-Smaller damage range; minimum damage 10 rather than Glass' 1.
-Higher enchantment, meaning it can hold better enchantments.
-Tougher; won't break as fast.
Glass Pros:
-Lightweight; only 16.2 compared to Adamantium's 50.
-Faster; speed is 1.25 compared to Adamantium's 1, meaning you can swing faster with the Glass one.
-Ignores Normal Weapon Resistance; means that it can damage ANYTHING in its default state. Adamantium would need an enchantment to harm anything that has normal weapon resistance (most undead, Daedra, etc).
Personally, I'd go with the Glass Claymore. Why? Lighter, so I can carry more of other things. Faster, so I can swing more quickly. Special, so I can damage anything without needing to enchant it. It may break faster, but that is what repair tools are for.
For reference, Daedric Claymore:
Weight: 81
Value: 80,000
Health: 5,600
Speed: 1.25
Enchantment: 210
Damage:
Chop 1 - 60
Slash 1 - 52
Thrust 1 - 36
Like Glass, ignores Normal Weapon Resistance.
I'm not a fan of Daedric gear, to be honest. I prefer Glass or Ebony. If you like Daedric gear, you'd better be able to carry it all (the claymore alone weighs more than most cuirasses and greaves combined). :p

Another n00b question: How the hell does one enchant an adamantiun claymore? I tried asking the merchants but they don´t have any spells they can enchant it with. I´m getting tired having too carry a special "undead whacker."

Ok, so it's not the difinitive guide, but whatever. Also, you need to buy the spells first, before you can enchant a weapon with it. You also need a soul gem, which I explain in the above thread, to some extent.
