I'm not going to answer because you called It's a Wonderful Life fluff. The guy has a great but not perfect childhood then gets thwarted at every turn except the most important all the while trying to be a good guy then an evil bastard rips him off so he breaks and he gets drunk and fights and crashes his car and saves a guy instead of killing himself and thinks he's going nuts and punches a cop and looses everything only to find people give as much a damn about him as he does about them. It's motherfucking perfect. At some point or other it says every important thing there is to say about life and money and human interaction. PLUS he gets to do Donna Reed.
It should be shown to every bank exec currently raiding the government coffers until they either grow a soul or are stomped like the scurvy spiders they have become. On second thought the only thing they would focus on would be that Potter came out a few thousand ahead.
That and the fact I can't think of any.

To give it the full and proper due, It's a Wonderful Life is an almost perfect movie.

I guess asking you to go along with A Garfield Christmas would be pushing it huh?
Right. Carry on.

I didn't even notice that. Full agreement from me, Tocky. There's a surprisingly strong, very dark undercurrent of despair and depression to
It's a Wonderful Life, and it's what makes the film all the better.

(
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110955/) The Ref is a quite funny non-traditional Christmas movie. Reading the quotes on IMDB I think I´m gonna buy it and watch it again this Christmas.

Did anyone suggest Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory yet? The original of course....
(Or is it called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Can never remember.)
