Come to think of it, I've not seen a SINGLE Steve McQueen movie.
Man you disappoint me. No
Bullit?
The Towering Inferno? Not even
The Magnificent Seven? :(

I just watched Christmas on Mars(that movie Flaming Lips have been working on for 7 years). It's just about as psychadelic, amateurish and boring as you'd expect. There are a few good parts in it but it's padded out with long takes of vagualy spacy things, vagina-portals and dead babies accompanied by droning sounds and bad acting. It could be a good 15 minute short if only all that fluff was cut out.
I guess it's worth mentioning that I was entirely sober when I saw it so I was perhaps not in the correct mental state for maximal enjoyment.

While there's no Christmas to be found, I always watch Blade Runner around this time of year because it suits the mood of the local weather.

Seconding Fanny and Alexander!
Also John Huston's The Dead, based on a story by James Joyce.

I admit I dig the hell out of Home Alone. Not the sappy bits, but the mischievous hat's-off-to-Tex-Avery bits which are brilliant!
And of course Die Hard. That's a given.

HalloweenYeah, because Halloween's all about the Christmas spirit.
