Is that true that you could save Gunther???

>I doubt you could get Gunther to defect considering how he felt about Anna.<
Well, you'd obviously also have to not kill Anna somehow, if such a theory were true (I know you can, of course, avoid killing her in the plane and later in New York
- by dying in the 'Ton / on the streets, or running past her in the subway to surrender to Gunther -
, but I've never tried it passed that, so I don't know if you have to confront her later on anyway).

There is no way to avoid killing Anna without cheating.
CHILLman on 19/4/2002 at 01:45
Yeah? When do you have to confront her again?
I know that, if you don't kill her in New York, she visits you in your cell before Daedalus breaks you out... where must you kill her after that?
Anarkos on 19/4/2002 at 04:28
In UNATCO HQ. You can in fact avoid her by forcing her to run out the UNATCO main door - opening it....
ICEBreaker on 19/4/2002 at 04:28
At UNATCO HQ. That is where the killphrase can be used.
CHILLman on 19/4/2002 at 07:36
Where, exactly, is she in UNATCO HQ? Is she close to the main door, so that you could easily damage her enough so that she runs out of it? Or is she in the armory or something?
Anarkos on 19/4/2002 at 07:55
Up by the door.
This was not a designed thing though, and the glitch is one you can often exploit...the storlyine thinks you killed her...
CHILLman on 19/4/2002 at 07:58
>the storlyine thinks you killed her (anyway)...<
Aww. :erg: Well then, I guess that pretty much rules out the "convert Gunther" thing, eh? :)
Anarkos on 19/4/2002 at 10:55
Unless somehow you can persuade him you didn't kill her, or she was a traitor, or...
