For my first character I was thinking of roleplaying a Wise Monk that was reluctant to kill.
Gets by on unarmed combat, invis, stealth, persuasion, charm, healing.
Is it too hard to do this for levelling/main storyline please?
Any thoughts Young Grasshopper? :)

Trust me on this my first character was a Dunmer Monk and it was HORRIBLE, the only guild i had the slightest amount of success with was the Thieves Guild, and it is extremely unrewarding. Whenever you go into a fight you'll do good with summonings & other magicka, even with cross/short/long bows you will do good, but whenever you have to face someone melee you cant do crap & i mean nothing. I was at lvl 6 and my hand-to-hand was 56, but it does absolutely no good at all because anyone with a weapon can slaughter you. I had some shortsword (& my rating was 16 for shortsword) & i couldnt even hit Nix HOunds, much less kill them, i just had to hope that my frost atronarch would do the job. So in conclusion MONKS BAD dont get one, get something with good long & short sword skills marksman and summoning and destruction skills.
