What's the deal with the disappearing entrances to sewers? This has happened twice now and I was not able to leave the way I came in. I teleported out of one, now I'm in West sewer and cannot get back into Godsreach sewers. If I teleport out, will I ever be able to get back in? There is a connection to Old Mournhold: Battlefield and to palace sewers; will it stay there or might it vanish? Is going into sewers a one-way trip, i. e. if you haven't finished exploring/questing you have to do it all in one fell swoop? I'd like some advice before I proceed- I have a fairly recent save which predates the sewers expedition mk. 2, although nothing recent before the first (the Sadri quest)
Thanks,
Ania

I've sorted some of it out - the door was there, but not in the place I thought it was, and for some reason it wasn't showing on the map. I found it quite by accident.
But when I was doing the Sadri quest- where you have to flood the chamber to float the crates on top of a trapdoor by turning a crank- when I got through the trapdoor I ended up in another, short sewer, with another crank, which drained the water. I went on, through another door, but when I came back to try to get out, the second crank was not working any more, and I was stuck in, with the way out blocked by crates on the other side of trapdoor, so I teleported out.
All this confused me- hence my previous post. Sorry if I confused any of you.
