I downloaded the file and the game has installed ok. I remember this game so well, it was fantastic!
But I get no sound or music?
I am using a SB live with Windows 98 SE, and I have tried clicking the Uwsound.exe file but I do not know what to set to what?
My comp is set to port 240, not the default 220. Does this have any effect? Also according to System/Device Manager/SB16 Emulation my IRQ is 9, my SB Port is 240, my 8 bit DMA is 3 and my 16 bit DMA is 7?
I am lost? Any advice much appreciated.

I would advise you to set your SB16 emulation resources to the defaults that dos games expect - A220, I5, 8-bit DMA 1. Except for the speech in the intro, all sound in the game is synthesized, using fm sound if you have a Soundblaster or compatible.
Of course, I *cough* have a MT32, which sounds much nicer for the old dos games that support it.

Also check how much conventional memory you have free, you need quite a bit to run the game with sound. I played UW2 silent for weeks till I managed to free enough memory to hear it.
