They probably see OnLive as a relative newcomer that they still have a chance of strangling at birth, unlike the more established Battle.net or Steam.

Yeah. I ordered it on Steam and I still seem to have the standard edition in spite of paying for the augmented edition. Oh, well.
The Steam "Augmented" version is not the same as the retail Augmented. If you read what's included, you don't get the extra weapons/mission.

amazon sent this email out, with an apology & code:
How to Use Your Code:
Step 1: Open the Steam client
Step 2: Select "Games" from the menu bar, and choose "Activate a Product on Steam"
Step 3: When prompted, enter in the product code found above
Thank you for your continued support of Amazon.com/games.

Also, each claim code is unique and can't be shared.
& i still have not received my copy

Yeah, it was nice that Amazon got their ducks in a row.
In other news, Gamestop is giving everyone with a stolen coupon a $50 gift certificate. Which doesn't justify what they did, but I think is fair compensation - I'd certainly take it. Only hassle is you have to go back to the store with your receipt to claim it.

I received no such e-mail from Amazon. My Augmented edition also didn't have the OnLive code, which kind of annoys me, but not massively.

I hope this isn't considered taboo . . . though I honestly can't think of a reason why it would be.
Amazon sent me an extra Tactical Enhancement Pack pre-order code. Some people were discovering that there wasn't a printed leaflet with the code inside the case, so Amazon sent them out in e-mails as a "just in case" measure.
So I have an extra code I don't need. I'd like to trade it for an Explosive Mission Pack code, if anyone has an extra one of those they don't want. I own the PC version of the game, and am guessing that the codes are probably platform specific. So I'm looking to trade codes for the PC version. PM me if you'd like to trade.
Here are screenshots of the game case with the code leaflet in it, and the e-mail I received from Amazon.

If you can't find any takers and still want to get rid of it, I'll make use of it.
(by which I mean I don't have any duplicates, sry)

I actually didn't expect anyone to respond. At least, not this quickly. Sorry! :erg:
