I swear I read recently or maybe that last podcast, one of them saying that they realised Thief was a 1st person PC game and that they were going to respect that? I wish jtr was here with some links. :sweat: Either way, its kinda funny then! You need a gamepad to be consistent with a 1st person PC game! I seriously hope these guys know something that we dont and are crafting this game to perfection. Because thats my problem with all this crap strewn before me in "modern times". They dont know something that I dont. Thief: The Dark Project knew something that we didnt, and presented it to majestic effect. Is this new team crafting a game that knows something we dont? Seems doubtful at this point. Nevertheless, I certainly dont want to look back on Deadly Shadow with tragically fond memories, just wishing to hear a Pagan crying "Oh noes" in every sentence again!

Holy crap, just read somewhere that there is, currently, an actual goddamn ACHIEVEMENT (called 'mu-mu-mu-my generation', I kid you not, FFS :mad:) for completing the game on PC using a gamepad?
