Picasso, did you see the big movie? The guy actually killed the robot with the pistol. And the robot wasn't exactly useless either. Definately did a fair bit of damage.

Twisty: That weird "itavisen" thing? Yeah, I've seen that one. The only other video I've seen is a short, 23-second one with the player disabling and shooting a bot. You can find it partway down (

What I'm talking about is 43 megs and is very cool ....
Hrmm ... I thought I found about it at DX machina ... but maybe not. I'm pretty sure I found out about it at ttlg. Search these boards maybe, or maybe it was at DX machina. Hmmm.
BUT my bro accidentaly deleted my copy, and when I went back to the site to find it the movie had been supplanted.
Of course this was some time ago.
Basically it showed two humans with masks and reasonably curvaceuos looking bodies due to the bump mapping.
Then it went on too show a flying robot, the cool shadows it cast, some computer screens.
Then (this was the best part) it went to show the dynamic lighting, showed the player shoot a hanging light and watched as the light swirled around casting new shadows everywhere it went.
Then it showed the area you would have seen in the other video's ... with the big light and the robot. The player proceeded to throw an emp gren at the robot, evidently missed as the robot turned around and started to rail gun the player.
The player then killed the robot with a pistol, but not before the robot had run in front of a light and cast the most MASSIVE and cool shadow on the wall.

I'm still searching through old DX Machina news archives, but I haven't found a thing. It does refer to that 4 med video as a "snippet" of the full video, but I can't find the full one anywhere. All my searching on file-sharing programs (WinMX, etc.) has come up with nothing...

Hrmm ... sorry but I honestly don't think I can help you any more ... the thing was taken off the original site.
However, if you really want the video you could find the magazine possibly ... or find someone who has it and persuade them to upload the video somewhere ... maybe ... I don't know ...
