Then why don't the mods patrol the forums once a year and close threads that have no new posts in them?

I think they (perhaps mistakenly) believe that no-one would be crazy enough to revive them without a really good reason.

It always seemed to me that there's no real point in reviving a topic like this (about a new style of playing) unless it's actually been completed and someone has a write-up about it.
A perfect example will be about the 'Ghandi' mode I tried and didn't truly complete properly, because a certain nameless person who has a well respected voice in TEG just completed a genuine, successful run and if he doesn't post about it soon I'm going to post about it myself. :sly: I'm sure that thread's as old as the hills by now.
