Joke of the day!
Really? Thanks! :cheeky:

You mean....some people actually increase their (uh...what? Endurance maybe?) skill to get more than 10 HP?
:weird:

I never seem to bother increasing my Endurance above 2. If I never get hit, I don't need to worry about damage.
OSA rules.
Navyhacker006 on 1/10/2004 at 17:01
That's my point, descenterace: You never go above 2; I never go TO 2.
I'm dead in one hit or so anyway, so why bother?
Though the more I think about it, the more I want to try a no-upgrades-after-training game, coupled with wrench only.
But first, two questions:
1) When you say no upgrades, I assume you're only referring to CM. What about OS upgrades?
2) Implants?

So you're saying you never get shot by anything less than a fusion cannon?

No, I'm saying that I'm a quick save/quick load whore.

God I hate doing that. I did that for a long time, took everything out of the game for me :erg:

Even on my (fairly reasonable) computer, SS2 takes too long to load levels for quickload to be any use. If I have to wait more than 5 seconds for a savegame to load, I don't bother with it.
Unless I'm playing Doom 3 on the hardest difficulty mode...

:weird: Flame me if I'm wrong, (as if you need to be told to :p ) but on Impossible, you only have 10 hitpoints to begin with, and one hit by a pipe hybrid will kill you, right? With Endurance maxed out on Impossible, it seems you get 25 hitpoints. 3 hits with a pipe-hybrid, and you're dead. Throw rumblers and psi-reavers into the mix . . . :erm: Dead in one hit, I don't have any trouble believing that.
descenterace on 2/10/2004 at 18:48
She has a point, ZB.
Those pipes sure do hurt if you don't dodge 'em. And lasers will kill you VERY quickly at high difficulty levels.

Yeah, it seems possible. I'm just shocked that in Impossible you get 25hp maximum! Thank God I play Normal...
